Do not feel sorry for me.
Who really got the raw end of the deal here?
I lost him. A lying, using, manipulative, abusive human.
and...
He lost me.
He lost me.

Slimming World Update - March
Monday, 13 March 2017
This month has been a slow month for Slimming World. This month my weight loss slowed down which I am a little sad about. I am welcoming the month of March and I am hoping to have a much better weight loss month.

Slimming World Update - Feb 2017 -
Thursday, 2 February 2017
Since November I have been on a Slimming World Journey. After years of feeling unhappy in my own body, having lost confidence, missing out on opportunities and feeling sluggish, I felt I needed to change my lifestyle and focus on me and my health. I now plan to blog about my journey to creating a healthy mind, a healthy body and a happier mummy.

MONTHLY UPDATE - JUNE 2016 -
Friday, 1 July 2016
Recently I have been very quiet on my blog. I have not fallen out of love with blogging, I still love blogging but I find my time is spent with Maxwell and my family a lot more than what it was 6 months ago. Over the next few months I hope to get the balance right and I hope to start posting on here more regularly... Once upon I time I managed to post on here nearly every day.
Monthly Update - May 2016 -
Sunday, 1 May 2016
Life has been so busy recently and I have not seemed to have written an update about life. I thought I would start writing a post monthly about what we have been up to and how Maxwell is getting on. We have recently had quite a few busy months which have left me with little time to do much. Maxwell starts school in September so I have been trying to make the most of the time we have left together before school takes over our worlds.
4 Weeks Of Learning And New Experiences
Thursday, 4 September 2014
- Maxwell has made the transition from cot to bed
- Maxwell has started to try and dress him self
- Maxwell has had a lovely summer
- Maxwell is looking forward to going back to preschool
- Maxwell adores dancing
What a busy 4 weeks we have had! You may have not seen but me and Maxwell have been up to all sorts of activities. We made the most of the 4 weeks and we managed to do so many activities together which was lovely. I have not updated my readers on how Maxwell has been getting on so I thought it was about time I did a large update.
A few months ago Ben and I decided to buy Max a cot bed, we had it delivered to Ben's Nan's house and we forgot that it was there for many months. Me and Ben discussed Maxwell's transition to cot and bed and we were a little worried, however we need not be. Maxwell has adapted to his new bed very well and since Maxwell has made the transition to his big boys bed we have only had one night where Maxwell refused to go to bed and played up for 2 hours. Throughout those 2 hours I took Maxwell back to his bed each time and showed him no attention. He soon go the message that he was not going to win the fight and ever since Maxwell has stayed in his bed. Maxwell goes to bed at 7am at night and sleeps all the way through to around 6am in the morning which is brilliant. We are both extremely proud at how well Maxwell has settled into being in a big boys bed and he has been rewarded with Peppa Pig magazines.
Recently Maxwell has started to want to be come very independent and he is now at the stage where he tries to dress himself as well as put his own shoes on. Maxwell is able to put his own shorts on, his own wellies and will attempt to put any shoes on that have Velcro on, he also takes his own socks off and tries to help get his t-shirt on and off. It will not be long before Maxwell is picking his own outfits out in the morning and getting dressed himself.

If I am honest I was dreading summer a little. I didn't want to have a boring summer with Maxwell and I wanted to make it as fun as possible for him. In the end me and Maxwell got up to lots of activities, all which were a lot of fun. I have found new activities to do with Maxwell which I now will keep doing with him and I am looking forward to next years summer holidays so we can make more amazing memory's!
Maxwell returns to preschool tomorrow and I think he has missed going a little. It took a while for Maxwell to adjust to not going so he will be surprised that he will be returning. On his return Maxwell will be going for 2 mornings a week instead of the one and in the last few weeks we have found that we are able to rent our house for another year meaning Maxwell will not have to move preschool's which is fantastic news as I like to keep him as settled as much as possible.
Maxwell has started to really take a interest in music and he now loves to dance, slide and jump around the room when music comes on. The video below shows how mad about music he is.

Life Lately

I have not done a update recently on my blog of what we as a family have been up to, although I have written about what Max has been up to there are many new things in our life which are going on.
In just 2 weeks we shall be moving into our new home. We are not moving far, only 20 mins up the road however it will be a change. I don't really know the area which we are moving to so it will be fun for me and Maxwell to explore the local area. We will also be moving close to my Grandad which is wonderful. Recently I have been seeing him once a week however I am hoping to visit him more once we move. For the last 2 years we have only lived in a maisonette. Our first maisonette did not have a garden and this maisonette's garden is unusable so it is going to be brilliant moving into a house where Maxwell is able to play.
With moving, there comes clearing junk. Fortunately for us we only moved 6 months ago so a lot of our stuff has been sorted already. The overwhelming thing I have found however is all the new things I have come across since packing. Most things are competition wins however there are things which I have bought and forgotten about, just yesterday I found a huge box of toiletries and I then went on to find a ton of new swimming stuff for Maxwell which is perfect as the local swimming pool is only 30 mins walk from our new house.
A few weeks back I blogged about a weird rash I kept getting and how I had been quite poorly. At the present moment the rash is much better and I have been quite well in myself. I am hoping once we move I will be very much back on the mend and I will stop feeling less tired and stressed.
People have been asking me about my Silent Sunday photos and where I have been capturing them. As the weather has been a lot better in recent weeks, at the weekend Ben has been taking us for drives in the New Forest and down to Calshot Beach and Lepe Beach. All these places are on our doorstep. Over the past few weeks, Ii have realised what a beautiful area we actually live in and how blessed we are to live here.
Finally the most exciting news I have for you is that I will be a bridesmaid at my sisters wedding next August. I am really excited as not have I only never been to a wedding but I am looking forward to being part of my sisters wedding day. Being asked to be bridesmaid for my sister has also spurred me on to loose some weight... I am looking at either joining the gym once we move or buying a treadmill for the conservatory.

Prize Wishlist Update
Friday, 6 September 2013
At the beginning of the year I wrote a prize wish list which I wanted to win for our family before Christmas. I have had not had so much time to enter competitions recently however, I have had some fantastic wins this year.
I wanted to win:
A Holiday/ Weekend Break
A Day trip somewhere I have so far managed to win some tickets to go to Paultons park and I have also managed to win some tickets to go to Wembley stadium for a tour! I have also been very lucky to win tickets to Fidelio, it is Beethoven musical and we are looking forward to going next month.
Some toys for Maxwell I have managed to win quite a few toys for Maxwell so far. I have won a few which are a little old for him however I plan to leave them in a box for next Christmas.
Disney Car Stuff
A cool Kitchen Gadget I have half completed this task as I won a ton of bakery stuff at the beginning of the year however I also managed to win a cool yogurt maker and a Russell Hobs mini chopper recently.
Some shopping/food vouchers I have managed to win a few hundreds worth of vouchers this year. Fantastic ones include Nandos, Tesco, Amazon and Costa. I love winning vouchers as they always come in handy.
A posh dinner somewhere
Some Recipe books/ Cooking class
A new changing bag/Pushchair Amazingly this month I won a Yummy Mummy changing bag. I am over the moon to have won as I have wanted a changing bag since Maxwell was tiny, however I could never justify spending a lot of money on one.
Some Fitness Equipment I managed to win a pair of Zaggora Hotpants last month. They will help me with my fitness however I am hoping to win some work out equipment.
Some Clothing
Something Pandora related
Anything Caravan/Yacht related for my parents
Anything house related for my sister
Christmas/Birthday presents for people I have managed to win a few presents so far this year and have not spent much on Birthday presents however I need to start winning more for Christmas.
As you can see I have a little more things to complete but anything is possible before the end of the year. I need to focus on entering more competitions!
