Silent Sunday
Merry Christmas
Did you have a lovely Christmas? We did!
We started Christmas morning at our house. Its our first Christmas here and I wanted to make it special for Max. When he woke up we brought him straight into the lounge and he was greeted with lots of presents.
He was given a few and jumped on them. He learnt how to rip the paper off presents on his birthday, so he found it very easy to unwrap his presents without much help.
We got ready and we set off out.
We got ready and we set off out.
We popped into Ben's Nan and Grandads house where we also saw his Uncle. We had a nice time there but did not stay long.
Maxwell loved the garden there as its full of little statues. He loved looking at the frogs.

We then went onto Ben's parents house, and Maxwell opened his presents. Ben's Nan gave Maxwell a beautiful wooden toy cube which Maxwell now loves to play with. He also got a book and loves to flip the pages.
Last stop was to visit my Mum and Dad. Mum cooked us a lovely dinner and we had lots of lovely presents off them. Maxwell got a special outfit and some lovely toys including his Megabloks which my dad (Grampy) has taught Maxwell to put back in the box after he has played with them.
Unfortunately we didn't get time to spend anymore time with my family on Christmas day however we did get to see them on Boxing day. My Nan, Grandad, Uncle and my parents all gathered round my Sister and her partners house. We had lovely food and opened the rest of our presents.
The only thing to go wrong this year at Christmas was that my Sister managed to break her foot on Boxing day as she tried to get Maxwell some of his toys out.
We are all wishing her a speedy recovery.

As you can see Maxwell was really spoilt, but so was I.
I got some limited edition peacock GHD's from my parents. Lots of money and vouchers, a Onsie and some Hollister Bottoms. I also treated myself to another 4 Pandora Charms.

Review - Jimmi Jamms
Friday, 28 December 2012
Jimmi Jamms have created a range of nightwear that would be perfect for any female anywhere. Jimmi Jamms were founded in 2008 and are now sold nationwide in Boots, or online at Jimmi Jamms.
Inside the box were the Jimmi Jamms which consisted of a classic vest and easy fit sweat pants,
The vest is made from 95% cotton and are super soft. It had a small rabbit logo printed on it.
The sweat pants are made from 100% cotton, Graphic placement print and have cuffed legs.
I really like the Jimmi Jamms, they are a perfect fit and extremely comfortable. I love the cuffed legs on the pants as this ensures that they don't slip down past my ankles. I'm quite short so normal pyjamas are very long on the legs and I am normally treading on the material.
When I have washed them they stay in shape. No colour runs and they have not shrunk. I think they are suitable through all times of the year. Even though the top is a vest I am still warm in them in the Winter. In summer they will also be perfect.
Overall I would rate Jimmi Jamms a fantastic 5/5.
Please visit there website for more information and all the other amazing styles of pyjamas they have to offer.
They are also offering a special deal at the moment, when you order 2 pairs of Jimmi Jamms you are able to get free shipping.
I was recently sent a pair of Jimmi Jamms - The London Tank and the Jersey Pants.
Their sleepwear ranges from £22 - £30, and comes in lots of different styles as well as colours.
When the Pyjamas arrived I was surprised at how well they were packed. They were packed in a lovely box which had a picture on that showed there contents.

Happy Christmas Eve To You All
Monday, 24 December 2012
We have been really busy today. Maxwell's rocking horse, which was a extra present I decided to get him last week arrived! I was useless at trying to build it and actually managed to break my screwdriver so I had to call in my trusty helpers - My sister and her partner.
They were a great help and managed to build Maxwell's amazing horse! Maxwell had a little ride on it however I then told him he must get off as horsey has a few duty's to do before Christmas like deliver all the presents to Bethlehem.
Whilst my sister was round she helped me get the house in a lovely clean state. We also arranged the presents round the table so they were there for Ben and Maxwell to open in the morning.
Me and Maxwell had time to watch a few movies today, when I say a few Maxwell doesn't really like to sit still for long so watched Happy Feet then The Snowman which is one of my childhood favourites. We snuggled up on the sofa with a few snacks and had lots of cuddles.
We are all looking forward to tomorrow. We are spending the morning with Ben's side of the family and then going to have dinner with my Mum and Dad. I am celebrating Christmas with the rest of my family on Boxing Day as sadly they can not all be with us tomorrow.
Anyway I wanted to come on to wish you all a very Merry Christmas as I'm going to spend the next few days with my family. I can not wait to play lots of games and eat lots of lovely food and have a lot of fun.
I would like to thank all my readers for your continued support, your lovely comments and the joy and inspiration you continue to bring to me.
Me and Maxwell both wish you a Merry Christmas.
We hope you are surrounded with a lot of love, happiness, joy and laughter

Our Party!
Saturday, 22 December 2012
Last Saturday my Sister, her partner Rob and my Mum and Dad organised me and Maxwell a party! We had lots of friends and family around and had a great time.
When we arrived Maxwell had a few presents to open. They had made Maxwell a little den out of the Wigwam we were sent a few months ago to review. They also had decorated the house. The party was 21 birthday themed as it was my birthday but also Maxwell's birthday hence using 1.
My sister also made us a great big 21 made up of pictures of Maxwell's first year and pictures of me from my 21 years. It was lovely to look back on all the memories.
Before everyone arrived Maxwell got time to spend exploring! He loves to explore and was looking everywhere to see what he could touch and play with. We had to put cushions around the table as he kept trying to climb it. He liked watching the fish swim around in the fish bowl and he also got to spend lots of quality time playing with his favourite Grandad and Auntie Rachel.
After everyone else arrived we got to open lots more presents, we were given lots of lovely presents. Maxwell got a Thomas the Tank engine book which has a keyboard on it which he loves as he loves music and loud noises. He also got lots of vouchers, so we are going to take him shopping to buy him lots of clothes and toys.
I was given money and vouchers. The money I used on my Pandora charms, and also some clothes and some Hot Diamond Earrings.
Finally it was time to Reveal the cake, I knew a lot of time and money had been spent on it so I knew it would be spectacular.
The cake came out and I loved it My 2 was decorated with lots of beautiful butterflies and frogs which of course reminded me of my Grandma and are my favourite animal. Maxwell's was decorated again with butterflies and Hungry Caterpillar Theme which he has loved ever since he was born. The cake was made at the bakers however my sister made all the decorations.
Me and Maxwell had a great day and would like to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes last week and would also like to thank everyone for our presents and the lovely party!

Pandora Bracelet
Thursday, 20 December 2012
For my 21st Birthday I was finally bought a Pandora bracelet. I have wanted one since I was small but had never had the money or time to think about getting one.
Ben and Max bought me my lovely bracelet and two charms - The Tunnel of Love Charm and the Picking Daisies charm. I love the Tunnel Of Love Charm as it represents what I have for Ben and Max, I also love the design of it.
I was given some Birthday money, normally I am one to spend it on clothes however this year I thought I would add to my bracelet. I decided to buy myself some charms.
What a surprise I had when I actually looked at how expensive they were! I was in shock. After waiting a few days, I luckily managed to find a discount code. 20% off all the charms so I managed to get 4 for £72 instead of £90 which I thought was brilliant. I wanted to choose charms which had meanings to me.
I chose:
The Little Boy Charm - Reminds me of Maxwell. He will always be with me wherever I may go.
The Frog Charm - Reminds me of my Grandma. When she passed away the only thing I wanted of hers was her frog ornament collection. The only thing I took was her frog ornaments! So this charm is in memory of her.
Sea Charm - From a young age I sailed the seas. My family have had a yacht since I was tiny and my Mum and Dad still spend a lot of time on it. The sea reminds me also of my Grandma as she sailed on many cruise ships including the QE2.
Silver Lining Charm - I choose this charm because I believe every cloud has a silver lining. You can go through hell but can still be left standing. I hope this charm brings me a lot of luck and keeps my thoughts positive.

My Festive Playlist #FestivePlaylist
Wednesday, 19 December 2012
With Christmas getting closer, it's hard not to hear lots of Christmas Songs. In the car, on the TV, in shops. Its pretty hard to escape them.
Over on Brit Mums I have decided to join their Linky. The Linky is supporting the Coca Cola drink and drive campaign. They are looking for bloggers to come up with a festive playlist that will keep their Designated Drive(Ben) smiling this season while they he taxi you around.
I love this song to the moon, and back! It was a Christmas number one back in 1994. I was only 3 but I have grown up to this song. Me and my sister always listen to it at Christmas and its always on round Christmas time! I love how they have the bells ringing in the song and in the video it is very Christmassy!
There is a message through this song when it plays to people. It is saying about the angel who comes to earth and starting the story of Christmas The song is very strong and powerful. It reminds people of what Christmas is about.

This song always reminds me of that excellent Christmas film ‘The Snowman’. I love Christmas films, but this is a favourite. I remember I used to watch it most Christmases when I was younger and how happy the film made me feel. I hope as Maxwell grows he goes on to watch it. Its a well known song loved by many.
Frosty the Snowman is a famous Christmas song. The song is about the tale of a snowman that is magically brought to life through a black top hat that a group of children place atop his head. Its a great children's favourite and has been around for a long time.
This song brings back some amazing happy memories. At school we always were made to sing this song. I also remember singing it in the school nativity play. I'm sure my Mum and Dad were aware of this song when they were younger, and I hope it gets passed down a few more generations.
That is my festive playlist. I hope you enjoy it. I would love to hear some of your favourites! I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas with lots of Merry Christmas Songs.

A Christmas Meme
Monday, 17 December 2012
Recently I was tagged in this meme by Emma over on The Cycling Mummy blog.
I love answering questions about myself and my family and would love to get involved in more meme so please feel free to tag me in some more.
This meme is answering questions about Christmas!
What is your favourite thing about Xmas?
Christmas is a time I get to spend with my family. My Mum and Dad now live in the Isle Of Wight and I rarely get to see my Sister as she is a school teacher, she is always working hard, its also great to see my Uncle and Nan and Grandad.
I love the food we get to eat at Christmas. My Mum's Christmas dinner she makes is one of a kind and I love the deserts my Sister and her partner make.
To unwind after a busy day, I enjoy playing games with my family. On the wii, with board games or on the Xbox or ps3 we always manage to have a great time!
Whats your favourite make up look for the season?
I love the dark Smokey eyed look, and peachy cheeks. I like to wear nude coloured foundation and love to add some bronzer. I am not a huge fan of wearing anything on my lips so just add a light coat of lip-gloss.
Real or Fake tree?
As we have moved into our own place, we have had second hand decorations this year from my mum as she recently moved out of her home. We were given a small fake Christmas tree but I'm hoping to buy a larger one in the January sales.
I prefer a real Christmas tree if I'm honest as when I was growing up this is all we ever had. However with a fake tree I do not miss getting rid of the tree after Christmas and cleaning and watering the tree leading up to Christmas.
Giving or receiving presents?
I love giving presents. Especially to my parents. They are the people who have supported me all my life and looking back I was really spoilt. Anything I wished or desired I had so its great to give them something they deserve back.
I also love to give them to Ben and Maxwell as I love to watch there faces as they open presents on Christmas morning.
I like receiving presents but would much prefer someone giving stuff to Maxwell rather than myself.
What is your favourite Xmas film?
I love Matilda, Its not really a Christmas film but its always on at Christmas and I always watched it when I was growing up. Ben has actually brought it as a stocking filler for me this Christmas. I hope Maxwell grows up to enjoy it as I have myself.
What’s your favourite Xmas food?
My favourite Christmas food has to be sprouts! I love the things! Not many people do like them and I have no clue why. I am a huge fan of Roast potatoes and carrots but I get to eat them throughout the year.
Thank you for reading my meme

Review - Handmade Nappy Clutch
For a while I have been trying to find the perfect nappy clutch. It has been difficult to find a way to carry nappy's, nappy bags, wipes and a toy for Maxwell without having a bag the size of a overnight holdall.
Recently I was sent a beautiful handmade nappy clutch to review from The Sprog Shop. The nappy clutch we were sent was a Handmade Nappy Clutch by Ildi.
The beautiful handmade nappy clutch is the perfect size for two nappies, a packet of wipes, nappy cream and some nappy bags, I also managed to fit a small toy in it for Maxwell.
It fits into my bag for quick trips out and about or easily fits into my handbag/changing bag for longer trips away from home. Its perfect to use for a quick nappy change in the restroom, instead of lugging a bag with you and taking all your own personal items in which can cause havoc.
The Nappy Clutch is sturdy, strong and carefully put together with precise stitching. One of the major bonuses of these clutch bags is that they are easy to wash, which means milk, baby food, juice or worse baby blowouts will never leave stickiness or smelliness in your nappy clutch.
There are 3 lovely handmade nappy clutches you are able to choose from. I was sent the flower style of fabric for mine. I love it, it is bright and very girly as well as fashionable however if Ben was going out with Maxwell then I think the Double Bubble nappy clutch would be perfect for him as this would fit perfectly in his man bag and again would suit his manly style.
These nappy clutches are at a bargain price of £7.50. I personally think not only is this clutch perfect for Mummy's to buy for themselves as a treat but also suitable for a gift for any expecting parent!
Overall I would rate Handmade Nappy Clutch by Ildi a brilliant 5/5

Friday 14/12/12 - Please pay your respects!
On Friday 14th December 2012 a lone gun man Adam Lanza, 20, armed with three guns including an assault riffle, forced his way into an Elementary school in Connecticut, USA. He opened fire in different directions. When he was done 20 children laid dead alongside the school Principal and five other staff members and himself.
He was later found to have started the massacre at home that morning by killing his mother. All three guns belonged to her.
This latest massacre has sadly been recorded as the deadliest school shooting in the US!
To the parents, family and friends my thoughts and prayers are truly with you at this difficult time. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child, I hope to God I never do.
Please pray for these people affected and keep sending positive thoughts to them!

Happy 1st Birthday!
Wednesday, 12 December 2012
So today is my amazing, beautiful little boy's 1st birthday and I am so proud of him.
When I got pregnant I was told by so many of my friends I had ruined my life, then I did not believe them and forever on I still will not.
1 year ago I gave birth to the most amazing magical little person in the world and have I learnt a new thing or two?
Before I had Maxwell I had no ambition, nothing to focus on. I had friends who would try and lead me down the wrong path and I never spent any time at home with my family.
Now I spend most days at home, since having Maxwell I have been out with my friends twice and now have ambitions and things to focus on. Family means everything to me.
Maxwell,
You have brought me so much happiness over the last year. Its been full of learning curves, lots of laughter and adventures. I often wonder what you will grow up to be but all I can hope for is your respectful, positive and have ambitions for success.
Over the last few weeks I have seen you continue to grow and you continue to amaze me. You now can walk along with your walker with no help, and manage to run everything over in the process. You have learnt to clap and dance to music which we all love to watch you do. You can also push your cars around and love to play independently.
My favourite thing at the moment is giving you a bath, you love to splash around with your rubber ducks and bath cups and tip the water over the side and shriek with laughter. I love how you get excited by the simplest things and not much in life ever seem to matter to you.
I treasure every single moment that I share with you. We spend so much together and I would not change it for the world. We do lots of little things together. We play, we bake, we shop, we eat but my favourite of all, we snuggle up watching the TV with snacks and juice!
Every moment that goes by you feel me with joy.
The love you share with me means so much I can not write it down in words. You make me laugh, smile, cry but most of all you bring something into my life which no-one else can share with us. Our Mother and Son Bond.
Mummy loves you more than anything in the world and never forget that, nothing will ever change. I am always here.

Review - Tyrrells Popcorn
Saturday, 8 December 2012
Tyrrells create
hand cooked English crisps in the Herefordshire countryside but have also created their own range of popcorn. I was recently lucky enough to be sent a selection of their Proper Popcorn to review.
When opening the package, the packaging of their products looked great. Tyrrells have combined great colours with some fantastic black and white "olde world" images. The products show that it is a British made product which I love.
I was sent two different flavours of popcorn, Mature Cheddar Cheese and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
I was intrigued by the Mature Cheddar Cheese popcorn as I have never tried anything like this before, so I tucked in.
In my honest opinion I did not really like the flavour of the popcorn which was disappointing but that is more down to my own preference of tastes. The texture of the popcorn was perfect, it was quite soft which I liked, normally I find loads of hard pieces in other makes of popcorn but also this was not the case.
The Sticky Toffee popcorn was delicious and was my favourite out of the two popcorn flavours we reviewed. I loved the flavour and again the texture was great too. I loved the fact that Tyrrells had used a well known pudding to make a fantastic flavour.
I think this flavour would be great for a Christmas snack and could be enjoyed by all the family.

Beautifully hand made from the iconic American design house Ficcare, this skinny metal double headband has been set with 140 brilliant white Swarovski crystals in one of the most comfortable and durable headbands you will ever wear.
Each strand of this design is very slender, at a dainty 2 millimetres wide, ensuring your hair looks elegant and understated. A versatile style that is perfect for lunch, a smart wedding or a black tie do.
Stone Bridge like to take care of your hair. They look for products that are gentle on your hair and make you look good. The majority of our hair accessories are manufactured by small, family-owned French or Italian companies for beautiful everyday luxury.
They are a small business and every customer is important to them. They look specifically for well-finished edges, high quality elastic and covered metal components to protect your hair as much as possible from pulling and snagging. Some hair clips and elastics have more of these benefits than others and the pricing reflects the level of handcrafting that has gone into each item.
