MUMMY TO THE MAX

Ahead of the clocks going back and with Halloween and Bonfire Night fast approaching, much loved hero Fireman Sam is launching a nationwide campaign to raise awareness of fire safety for children.

With Halloween just around the corner, Maxwell was recently sent an amazing Morphsuit. Every year ahead of Halloween I always try to find Maxwell the perfect dressing up costume. I always give him the choice of what he would like to dress up.  I always like to choose a costume for Maxwell which is not only eye catching but something which will also grow with him and something that is practical. Over the years Maxwell has dressed up as a pumpkin, a skeleton and a wizard and this year Maxwell choose to be a skeleton again.

Maxwell loves to play outdoors. Since he was small, we have spent many hours outside in our garden in all weathers. Recently I have been looking at ways to improve our garden for him especially for the weekends when he is off school. Our garden is not huge so we first opted for a small trampoline. We next opted for a beautiful playhouse sent to us by the lovely people over at Big Game Hunters.

We are huge Disney fans in this house. As a family we love Disney. From a young age Maxwell has had many favourite characters but more recently he has developed a huge love for Mickey Mouse. Recently we were asked to review a Mickey Mouse fire station and Mickey Mouse Fire engine by IMC Toys. I knew Maxwell would be the perfect person to review the set due to his love of emergency services as well as Mickey Mouse. As soon as the big box of Disney magic arrived, Maxwell jumped in excitement and his full face lit up. He could not wait to start playing with his new fire station and fire engine.

Every now and again, I get a gift card which I am unable to use. In the past I have gifted people vouchers due to the short expiry date, the location of the store which I am unable to get to or the fact that I tend to buy nothing from the shop that the gift card is for. With Christmas just around the corner, I have found the perfect selling place for unwanted gift cards.

Maxwell has recently started school and I like to ensure that he is eating well. I like to encourage healthy eating and luckily for me, Maxwell enjoys eating healthily. Maxwells school is quite picky about what can be put in lunch boxes as it is classed as a healthy school. I am always conscious of what I add into Maxwells lunchboxes as not only do I want to keep Maxwell happy and healthy but I want to keep the school happy.

The nights are getting darker quickly and I find at the moment I love sitting down in my PJ's, with my family around me with a nice meal or some nibbles in front of me. At the moment I am loving quite a few shows. Over the next month, some of my old favourite shows start up again and to say I am excited is an understatement.
