The Clever Family Phone - Gigaset C620A Review

As many of our readers know, we have recently moved home. The first day we moved in we encountered many problems with our home phone. This was mainly down to the rubbish home phone which we had. Telephone calls were cracked and I found I was repeating myself many a time. In the end I stopped using my home phone as calls were getting interrupted and I thought that I could use my mobile for calls however I soon found out that most of the numbers I was trying to call were premium rate numbers and would cost a lot on my mobile. I had no choice but to ring on my awful home phone however before I managed to run a huge phone bill up on my mobile Gigaset came to our rescue and in the end I was able to ring up the business's I needed to in style. Gigaset sent us one of their clever family phones, the Gigaset C620A. At a RRP of £59.99 I was expecting a lot as in my own mind £59.99 was a lot of money to be shelling out on a phone however Gigaset came up trumps and the phone did have a lot to offer.

The Gigaset phone came in a small box, it was very easy to put together and within a few minutes the phone was plugged in.  The phone came with a user guide explaining how to set the phone up quickly, these instructions really helped me to get the phone in a working state. They were simple to follow and easy to read and I could understand the picture diagrams. Once the phone was plugged in I was able to put the correct date and time on the phone and I was able to choose a fun ringtone. The ringtones which the Gigaset phone have to offer are fun and really I could compare them to some of the ringtones which I would find on my mobile as they are very clear and of high quality.

Once I had set up the ringtone I then went on to input the phone book entries. I often manage to forget numbers, especially my Mums and my Grandads so it was brilliant to be able to store the numbers on my home phone which I use to call them instead of on a piece of paper which could often get lost. A brilliant feature to this phone is that the phone can store up to 250 entries which makes it not only great for family use but it could also be perfect for small business use.

I have to admit I was a little worried about the battery life as I often talk to my Mum for long periods of time and after I sometimes manage to forget to put the phone back on charge however once analyzing the instruction booklet I was able to find out the that phone has over 26 hours talk time and the phone also has a 530 minute standby time.

A few other little things which are perfect about this phone is that it has a answer machine, although no one has left us a message yet the phone has 55 minutes recording time and can be remotely operated which means you can use it when you are away from the house. The phone also has a nuisance blocking call feature which means that annoying calls can now go unanswered and you will not be disturbed in the day.

Overall  I was extremely impressed with the quality of the phone. From a hands free speaker to energetic, fun ringtones the phone has something to offer every family and even small business. The phone is great to look at thanks to its call standby clock settings and its sleek black design. The phone is strong as well as resistant. I would 100% reccomend this phone. It can be bought on Amazon at the present moment for just £44.99. A great little extra to this phone is that more than 1 can be bought and they can be dotted around your home making it easier for calls to be answered.

I did not receive any financial reward for writing this review.
However we did receive the product for review purposes. Everything written in this post is my own honest opinion.

A Week Of Learning And New Experiences

  1. Maxwell has learnt to "Hi5".
  2. Maxwell enjoys watching Peppa Pig on Youtube but in French.
  3. Maxwell is extremely helpful in the new house.
  4. Maxwell has "deep" feet.
  5. Maxwell has enjoyed doing crafts this week.
This week has seen Maxwell learn to Hi5. I am not sure where he really learnt it from however every single time I say Hi5 Maxwell puts his hand out to Hi5 and screams with excitement. Maxwell has now started to put his hand out to people when we are out and about so they can Hi5 him and he loves to do it to his Daddy in the evening when he gets out of bed.

I have always let Maxwell watch Youtube on my phone from a young age. Maxwell has enjoyed many nursery rhymes, childrens programmes and even educational games however this week Maxwell has enjoyed watching Peppa Pig in French. Every afternoon I let Maxwell use my phone for a hour and all this week he has put Peppa on in French. I am pretty sure he is unable to understand her at all and I have told him numerous amounts of times that he needs the English version on however if anyone dares changes it Maxwell gets incredibly stropy. Hopefully he will grow out of watching it soon.

Since Maxwell was young, he has always been helpful around the house however since we have been in our new house Maxwell has started to help a little more. Maxwell now enjoys helping to sweep the lounge as well as mopping, putting his toys away in the conservatory and helping me peg all the washing out on the washing line. I hope Maxwell continues to be clean and helpful as he grows older.

This week saw us visit our local shoe shop to get Maxwell's feet measured as it seems he has been in his latest pair of shoes for months. Whilst there we were told although Maxwell had not gone up any shoe sizes, he had deep feet. I was unaware of children getting deep feet however all it means for Maxwell is that he has arched tops on his feet and they are more cushioned than some childrens feet. We were advised to keep a eye on his feet and always be aware of the styles of shoes we are buying him as some may not be suitable for him and may lead him to discomfort as the top of his feet may feel squashed.

Since moving into our new house, we have had a lot more room to do activities. This week has seen us make lots of models out of playdough and has seen us do lots of colouring and drawing. Maxwell loves to get creative and I like Maxwell to get creative, as long as there is not to much mess. I have now bought a plastic play mat to put down so whatever activity Maxwell is doing the floor will stay clean.

Our Busy Easter Weekend

This weekend has seemed to have flown by. For us it has been very busy, fun and exciting. We managed to fit so much in and have had such a relaxing time. Here is what we got up to:

Saturday: On Saturday we went to Fareham and we went shopping. Saturdays are normally short days as Ben goes to bed early in the morning as he works Friday nights. We normally go out in the afternoon once Ben had managed to catch up on a little sleep. It was Ben's birthday on Friday, so Ben wanted to spend some of his Birthday money which he received. Unfortunately the shopping centre there was quite disappointing as there were not a lot of decent shops in the shopping centre, so we left empty handed. On the way home Ben accidently took a wrong turning and we ended up in Portsmouth. We were stuck in loads of traffic for ages and Maxwell was not impressed. Fortunately there is a new road being built which no one really knows about and we managed to get onto the road, turn around and head home. Once home I stayed up late to prepare Maxwell's Easter Egg Hunt for him.

Sunday: Maxwell woke up to a letter from the Easter bunny and a fun Easter Egg Hunt round the house.  Unfortunately it was raining so we were unable to hunt around the garden. Maxwell did really well at finding the Easter goodies and he had a lot of fun finding them. Once the hunt was over Maxwell was rewarded with a new book and a new game, which I am hoping will help improve his speech a little. Once the hunt was over we got ready to go out for our Easter/Ben's Birthday meal. We decided to go to a local restaurant which is a short drive away. Overall we had a really lovely time at the meal and the food was great. We would love to return there again soon, perhaps when it is a little less busy.

Monday: Monday was my favourite day of our busy weekend. Monday saw us get up very early and go to Frankie and Bennys. I had won a £20 breakfast voucher with them recently so I was keen to try their breakfast out with Ben and Maxwell. We had a wonderful time and we were treated to full english breakfasts, pancakes and ice cream and even a sausage and egg muffin. As it was Bank holiday Monday, I am unsure if many people knew they were open as they were extremely quiet which meant we got great service and our food was delivered fast.
After we had ventured to Frankies, we popped home to get Maxwell's pushchair and made our way to the new shopping outlet in Whitley Village. It was quite busy as they had a charity event on however we managed to miss most of the crowd and finish our shopping before it was time to go home. We all got treated to a few bits and whilst there we even got to meet a few new friends.

Overall we had a fantastic weekend. I am looking forward to having lots more busy, fun weekends as soon as the weather picks up a little. Did you have a good Easter weekend? What activities did you get up to?

We Are Going on Holiday - Preparation

Ben, Maxwell and I are so excited as we are going on holiday in June. We are going to Bluestone in Wales so it will be a long journey for us as we live in the New Forest in Hampshire. I think it very important to plan what we will need for the journey and what to take with us as we all want to enjoy ourselves.

I must admit I have bought lots of new clothes for Maxwell ... and a few for myself. As we will be going swimming I will include swimming nappies, arm bands, a float, sun hats, a UV sun protection suit and high factor sun protection (just in case the weather is very kind to us). I have also included a special Huggies Swimming Mat which means that Maxwell will not have to lay/stand on any cold, wet floors in the changing rooms. We will take the pushchair and parasol for Maxwell although he much prefers to walk, just incase he gets too tired when we are out and about. I will pack Maxwell a back pack with his favourite toys but also will include some small books, a colouring book and some crayons. I think it important to include a small first aid kit and anti-bacterial hand wash also just incase any accidents happen whilst we are out and about or just incase we sit down to eat. We do not want to be picking up any nasty germs.

We are planning to make several stops during our journey so that Maxwell can stretch his legs. We will take some story/song CDs to keep Maxwell entertained I will take my tablet also so Maxwell is able to play some games which I plan on downloading. He may take a nap so a light blanket will be included. We will also take a bag of snacks and drinks just in case we get caught in traffic, however we can also stop off at the service station for food if needs be.

Maxwell is normally a great sleeper at home, so I think we may take his travel cot with us. I will also take his bedding, a small night light and his favourite toy to take to bed.The company do not provide baths with their rooms, so I am trying to make Maxwell use a shower at home so he gets used to them. If Maxwell dislikes showers, we may have to find a special little travel bath for him to use.

We will take our camera with us so we can take lots of photos to record our first holiday with a toddler and I may take my laptop as there is free Wifi there so I can blog about our first toddler holiday experience as well as Instagram it whilst it is actually happening.

It is all so exciting ... Have you any suggestions of what we should include? Have you been to Bluestone and if so what activities would you reccomend?

This is part of a series of posts I shall be writing about our holiday to Bluestone in Wales.
We have been given the opportunity to review Bluestone and have been given a free holiday however everything in these posts are my own honest opinions

A Week Of Learning And New Experiences

  1. Maxwell has learnt to balance things on his head
  2. Maxwell adores the park
  3. Maxwell has been sleeping well
  4. Maxwell enjoys talking on the phone
  5. Maxwell is looking forward to the weekend
This week has seen Maxwell learn a new trick. Maxwell's new trick involves him balancing objects on his head. Maxwell has learnt to walk and stand still whilst balancing things on his head and I have to say he is always extremely proud that he has learnt this new trick.

Since we have moved we have been very lucky to have a lot of parks around where we live, including one at the bottom of our road. There are so many parks around where we live, there is actually a map that you can follow to visit them. One day I may take Maxwell park crawling. Maxwell loves going to visit them and he is now a huge fan of the slide. He also enjoys climbing and going on the see saws.

When we moved to our new house, I was very much scared that Maxwell would stop sleeping well. I thought that he may be able to sense we were downstairs and that he was upstairs and he would not like it, however I have been pleasantly surprised. Every night at 7pm Maxwell knows it is bedtime, lights are off and he has gone straight to sleep. Maxwell has not made a fuss and has been good as gold. In a few weeks time we are looking to move Maxwell from his cot to a toddler bed. I will keep you updated in how the transformation goes.

Maxwell's speech is slowly getting there, if you are a regular reader of my blog you know Maxwell is a little slow at speaking. Maxwell now talks to himself and us all day in his own language however the words are still barely recognisable. Recently Maxwell has been enjoying talking to his Nanny on the phone and loves listening to what she has been up to. Often he gets me to ring her up just so he can listen to her. Maxwell can now say Digger, Train, Tree and cake.

This weekend is very special, not only is it Easter, but it is Ben's birthday. We have lots of plans and we are looking forward to going for meals out, shopping and eating lots of cake and sweets. Maxwell will enjoy a Haribo hunt on Sunday as well as get a few special treats. We are really looking forward to our weekend and we are hoping the weather stays nice.

Our New Home

Our move to our new house went perfectly on Friday. We took Maxwell to Auntie Rachel's on Thursday morning with his suitcase as he was staying the night. We then headed off to collect the keys for our new home. Mine and Ben's family helped to re-clean the house during the afternoon and my Dad and I cleaned the carpets upstairs. Everything was fresh and smelling nice ready for our furniture and massives of boxes on Friday. With everyones help on Friday by 8 pm all curtains and lampshades were hung, furniture put in place, beds made, clothes hung in wardrobes, and 95% of the boxes were unpacked. Our new home looked fantastic.

Maxwell had a lovely time with my sister Rachel. She took Maxwell to a farm with her friend and her toddler E on Thursday. Maxwell had a brilliant time and loved getting lots of fresh air as well as spending time with a little friend. Maxwell and E shared the food to feed the animals and Maxwell loved the chickens. As it was sunny they had their lunch and sat on their picnic mat. Maxwell had a fantastic time and was very tired. On Friday afternoon Rachel brought Maxwell to our new house and he helped her to put all his clothes and toys in his new bedroom.

Maxwell has settled well which I am glad about as this was one of my main worries before we moved. I thought that he would find it strange to adapt to a new house but he seems to be a very happy little boy in our new house. We have set up lots of his toys in the conservatory and he loves to go and get his cars to play in the lounge as he uses our large lounge mat as a car circuit with our legs being tunnels.

The new house has also helped me and Ben do daily tasks more easily. Ben is now able to clean his car in the driveway and it is much more easy to carry the shopping in from the car as before we sometimes had to park a long distance away from our maisonette and then carry shopping up the stairs and through 2 large doors.

The area we have moved to is fantastic. There is a lot of free space to roam and explore and today Maxwell and I walked to the Doctors. On the way we stopped at the stream and then went to the play park. Maxwell loves the slide and the climbing frame but is still uncertain on the swing. We did a little shopping and headed home. I am really happy to be bringing Maxwell up in this area, it is quiet, people are friendly and we love exploring the outdoors.

Ben, Maxwell and I love our new home.

Moving Day

Today is our moving day. I have been counting down to this day for months. The worry, the stress, plans, ideas and even money and love have gone into this move and I am hoping it really will go perfectly for us. For the next few days I wont be around much but I have scheduled a few posts which I will hope you enjoy.

What we are looking forward to:

Having stairs- For the last 2 years I have longed to run up and down stairs. I have longed to have that little bit of space separating Ben and I whilst he is sleeping in the day and whilst me and Maxwell want to play in the day. I want the opportunity to say to Maxwell "Stop climbing the stairs" - although this will really never happen as we have invested in 2 stair gates.
Having a garden- Most people take it for granted that they have a garden. I did until we did not have one. One of the most amazing things this summer is that Maxwell will have a garden. He will be able to play with his toys, we will be able to have BBQ's, we will be able to socialise with friends and we have a shed to keep clutter in.
Having our own driveway- For the last 2 years now we have had to carry a baby and toddler through the rain to our car.  We have had to walk down icy wet steps, we have had to stand hail, rain, wind and at times even thunder to walk to our car. This house is going to provide us with joy that there is a driveway and when it does rain, there is only center-meters to walk to that nice white door which will lead you to a nice dry house.
The Area- The area we are moving to is a better location than what we live in now. I can walk to catch a train to go shopping, I can walk and get a bus, I can walk to the local supermarket and most importantly I can walk to see my Grandad. I adore the area and although we are not so close so forest (It being at the end of the road) we are still extremely close to it and I am still looking forward to our wonderful forest car journeys.

Plans and changes in life:

Going out more- I am looking forward to going out more. This may mean walking to the local shops, visiting the local swimming pool or even going to more toddler themed groups with Max, I think the area will let me access all this and if not more. There is also the issue that I want to get skinny before August next year, so who knows... Maybe I will even take up a new sport.
Doing more activities with Maxwell- Whether these activities be cooking, crafting or playing out in the garden, I am really looking forward to it. I think this house will give us a little more room for Maxwell to burn his energy off everyday so there is more time for funner activities.

Not looking forward to:

Gardening- The garden is not the hugest garden you will ever see but it is big enough for Maxwell to have a lot of fun. The garden is pretty basic however I will still need to tidy the lawn, keep plants in shape and even maintain fences, trees and walkways.

I Am Going To London... To Britmums 2014!

I'm so exciting to be attending Britmums Live in June, I am counting down the days! I thought I would join in the linky which you can find over on the Britmums site and introduce myself to anyone who was going to Britmums so they can look out for me. I also wanted to inform my readers why I am super excited to be attending, what I am looking forward to and i wanted to share a little more information about me. I just wanted take the time again to thank Nelsons Arnicare for sponsoring me, without you guys I would not be attending this event.

Name: Helen

Blog: http://www.mummytothemax.co.uk/

Twitter ID: @mummytothemax

Height: 5 ft 2

Hair: Shoulder length - auburn colour, may be looking wild like a lion or it may just be straight.

Is this your first blogging conference? No, I was lucky enough to attend Britmums 2013. Apart from Britmums I have not attended any other conference.

Are you attending both days? I am staying over Friday night, so I will be attending both days.

What are you looking forward to at Britmums live 2014? I am looking forward to meeting lots of bloggers which I have been able to speak online but have not had the chance to meet in person. There are a special few who I am hoping to also meet before the event.  I am looking forward to connecting with new brands and I am looking forward to learning new things which hopefully will improve my blog. I am also looking forward to meeting the Nelson Team who have kindly sponsored me this year to attend the event. They will also be attending the event so please look out for them and say a huge hello.

What are you wearing? What I will be wearing all depends on if I manage to loose weight in the next few months. Normally I like to blend in and wear skinny jeans with a nice top and cardi, however if I manage to loose weight you may see me wearing a pretty maxi dress with some nice sandals.

What do you hope to gain from Britmums live 2014? I am hoping to gain inspiration from the speakers at the event this year. I am hoping to learn new things that will help improve my blog in 2014 but I am also looking to be inspired by peoples stories which they have to tell.

Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before? Be confident and introduce yourself to as many people as possible. Last year I went away wishing I had introduced myself to other bloggers and throughout the last year I have only managed to speak to them online and I have been left thinking "why did I not go and speak to this person?". I would also recommend taking a notebook or something which you can scribble on, last year I came up with lots of new ideas. If I did not take my note book and pen, I would never have had the chance to write down ideas and some of those ideas would have never made it to Mummy To The Max. The last tip I can say is ENJOY, the event goes so quick.

Note:
To all my fellow bloggers, please come and introduce yourself if you see me at the event. Last year I managed to miss a few people out and  I came home feeling saddened that I did not get the time to say hello. If you are travelling to Waterloo Station and wondering how to get to the venue via tube or have any other questions or perhaps want a travel buddy, drop me a line and I will try and help. See you all there.

Hotter Laura Shoes Review

Recently I was contacted by Hotter Shoes and I was asked would I like to review a pair of shoes from their new spring collection. I had always heard a lot of good reviews about Hotter shoes but had never actually tried them myself. I was a little scared about reviewing a pair as I had also heard that they were designed for the older generation and from this I found myself forming a opinion that they may not be that fashionable however once I had taken the time to look around the Hotter shoes website, I found this was not the case.

After taking the time to look at the Hotter Shoe website, I decided I would like to review a pair of Laura shoes. I was instantly drawn to the fact that the shoe came in a range of colours, the shoes were made of good quality material and that they were fashionable. I was really excited to receive the shoes and I was happy to see that they arrived quickly once they had been ordered. Not only did they arrive quickly but they also came well packaged and beautifully boxed.

Made from nubuck and supple, soft leather these slip on shoes really manage to stand out. I choose the shoes in a aqua and tan colour as I knew that they would look good with my jeans come spring/summer but would also be suitable on dry days in the autumn and even winter. Although the weather has not recently been great, it has been dry which has given me the opportunity to wear my Laura shoes.

I have managed to wear my shoes on days out with Ben and Maxwell, for walks on the seafront, on shopping trips and even on shorter trips to places such as the post office. Since wearing my shoes I have noticed that my feet have been a lot more comfortable. I think this is down to the fact that the shoes are gently cushioned. I have also noticed that my feet rarely get hot, which means when summer comes my feet will be able to breath and will not overheat. Due to the shoes also being made of a high quality leather and being well made, I also have no fear that the shoes may split on me or break on me after little use. The shoes seem very long lasting.

I absolutely adore my new shoes and I can not find a bad word to say about them. Hotter Shoes have changed my opinion about the shoe range being for the elderly and have actually encouraged me to want to buy more styles of shoes. If you are interested in buying the Laura shoes you are able to buy them from the Hotter Shoe website and they are priced at £65. You can buy them in 4 different colours: Cyan/Tan, Aqua/Tan, Light Taupe/Tan or Red/Tan.

I did not receive any financial reward for writing this review.
However we did receive the product for review purposes. Everything written in this post is my own honest opinion.

F&F Spring And Summer Collection 2014

A few weeks ago I had a fantastic email from F&F Clothing asking me if I would like to get involved in their #ffontrendmum campaign. I of course accepted and was able to choose £100 worth of clothes for myself and Maxwell to enjoy. We were able to choose from F&F's Spring and Summer collection. Maxwell was given £20 to spend and I was given £80 to spend.

As a parent I don't often get to buy any new clothes for myself. Not only do I not have time, but I hate my body shape since I had Maxwell and I like to hide in clothes that I feel comfortable in. Eventually after having a look round Tesco's website I managed to find 2 outfits which I thought I would be comfortable in and  I found a cute outfit for Maxwell to enjoy as well.

My #ffontrendmum outfits were:

F&F Jeggings In Black
F&F Zip Pocket Tote Bag In Black
F&F Nurture Butterfly Kimono Cardigan
F&F Diamanté Toe Post Sandals
F&F Aviator Sunglasses In Bronze

F&F Floral Print Beaded Tie Maxi Dress
F&F Zip Pocket Tote Bag
F&F Diamanté Toe Post Sandals
F&F Aviator Sunglasses In Bronze

As you are able to see I really had fun creating my 2 outfits. I love that  I was able to use the same accessories and shoes for both the outfits however at the same time I was able to get the 2 looks so different. My first outfit is inspired so that I can wear it in the day times, when the weather is not so warm and the second outfit is inspired when it is hot and I am ready to hit the beach or in my case, the back garden. Since have both outfits I have really enjoyed wearing the outfits out. They have given me a lot more confidence and I wore the first outfit on Mothers Day. All the clothing washes up really well and I am impressed with not only the sizing but how cheap the clothing also is. I found that all the clothing on F&F website was actually really stylish and I am hoping to perhaps buy some more goodies before the summer really kicks in.

And Maxwell's Spring And Summer Outfit was:

F&F Turn-Up Slim Stretch Jeans
F&F Zip-Through Hoodie
F&F Multi-Coloured Striped Grandad T-shirt

Maxwell's outfit is designed to not only keep him warm in the spring but also to keep him cool in the summer. When it is hot all Maxwell needs to do is take off his jumper and roll up his jeans and he will be ready to hit the garden. Maxwell's outfit was also designed with the thought of him wanting to be comfy. Comfy clothes are always in the back of my mind when purchasing clothes and I am happy to say that F&F have ensured this with there range of boys clothing. Overall I was really impressed with the outfit Maxwell was sent. It washes up well which is key when I have a busy little boy who loves to get dirty and once again the prices where low which is brilliant for quality clothing.

I just wanted to thank F&F for allowing us to take part in this incredible campaign. As a mother, I used to be fairly choosy over what brands Maxwell would wear but thanks to F&F thinking out carefully what children need, I am more than happy to buy Maxwell plenty more clothes this summer from their incredible range.

I was gifted £100 to spend online at F&F as part of their #ffontrendmum campaign. All thoughts, opinions are my own.

Max Rates..... April 2014 Garden Addition

As many of you know, we are moving. I thought it would be a nice idea to come up with a few ideas of what Maxwell would enjoy having in our new garden. I hope you all enjoy.

Maxwell already has this car carrier and it is brilliant. It is perfect for small hands as the cars and the carrier are both really chunky. The car carrier can be used inside and outside so it is perfect for not only the summer weather but also the winter weather.

Little Tikes Classic Cozy Coupe Ride-on
When I was smaller I had one of these Ride-On's and I adored it. It lasted many years and we found that it was of brilliant quality. I am unsure if we will get Max one as he has many other types of rides on however I can reccomend this to other parents.

Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox
I am keen to buy this for Maxwell when we move. I love that it has a lid, this means no nasty unpleasant things may find there way in the sandbox at night. I love that it also has 2 seats built in so therefor he can sit in the sandpit and play whilst being comfy and not getting sand down his pants.

I would love to welcome this pool into our garden. It looks really fun for the summer.  I am unsure if we really have enough space for this however so Maxwell may just end up with a small paddling pool. Either way this is a brilliant price and I would love it to keep me cool this summer.

Maxwell loves crawling through these types of tunnels so we will be buying one for Maxwell when we move. The idea of this one is brilliant as it will allow Maxwell to push the balls through the holes also.

This little rocking horse is really cute. I think Maxwell may be a little to old for this now but it looks fun for younger children. Being small also means that it can be used in the garden or inside in wet weather.

I adore the idea of the hopscotch mat and I am keen to get Max one. Although he is still too young to do hopscotch, these mats are perfect for the garden if Maxwell was to fall over as they are very soft to land on.

This is a bargain and I love the fact that it comes with a parasol. When we move I am either going to buy Maxwell something like this, or I am going to buy a wooden picnic bench.

Please note if you buy through these links I may be rewarded as these are affiliate links.

A Week Of Learning And New Experiences

  1. Maxwell has been playing independently.
  2. Maxwell has been having little temper tantrums.
  3. Maxwell bought Mummy special Mother's Day treats.
  4. Maxwell has been eating a range of food.
This week has seen Maxwell playing independently with his toys. Instead of wanting to play with me all the time and instead of demanding my attention, Maxwell has been playing nicely by himself. Maxwell has been building blocks, playing with his cars and has enjoyed solving his own puzzles.

Maxwell has started to have little temper tantrums. If Maxwell does not like something, he now likes to scream, run away or pull away from what he does not like what is happening. This week I have been ignoring his temper tantrums and have them run their course instead of giving into him. I hope by next week the temper tantrums die down a little and Maxwell is back to his happy self.

Maxwell spoiled me this year on Mothers Day and managed to buy me a nice cardigan as well as a lovely box of chocolates. I also was given a cute card which had sweet little hedgehogs on. On Mothers Day I also had a lovely bouquet of flowers delivered. We had a fantastic day and I was treated to a takeaway from Ben in the evening. I am looking forward to lots more Mothers Days.

Maxwell has continued to try new foods and has started to eat lots of different things. Maxwell now enjoys sandwiches, crackers and occasionally baked beans for lunches. Maxwell also is enjoyed crepes, pancakes and cereal bars for breakfast. It is great to see him eat lots more foods.
