Raggy-Tag Cot Blanket Review

Raggy-Tag is a British company based on the Isle of Wight whose primary objective is to provide high-quality products for little hands to hold onto. As a huge fan of local British company's I was excited to review a beautiful Raggy-Tag cot blanket for Maxwell.

When the blanket arrived it was beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon, instantly I knew it was going to be well made and a quality product. Once opened we were greeted with a beautiful soft baby blue blanket. It was made out of blue velboa and backed with sumptuous white cuddlesoft velboa.

One thing which can be said about the Raggy-Tag blanket is that it is very well made. The quality of every Raggy-Tag blanket is assured by international safety standards and is tested to comply with the safety requirements of European Standard EN71 which makes me have a lot of faith and positivity in Raggy-Tag as a brand.

Maxwell tooken the blanket to bed on many occasions and we have found that not only does it keep Maxwell warm due to it being quite thick, it actually comforts him to sleep. Due to the blanket being so soft, Maxwell rubbed it against his face and it helped him drift off to sleep.

I love the fact that the blanket is the perfect size to travel with but can also be used in the car and at home. The blanket measures at Length 100cm x Width 66cm. If the blanket is to get dirty when out and about then I am able to stick it in the washing machine as the blanket is machine washable at 40 degrees which is great when you have a sticky handed little toddler.

The blanket is priced at £35.00 which I think is quite reasonable. It is British made, meets safety requirements which is important when you have a little one and generally keeps your baby warm and snug.

Treat Republic Wooden Keepsake Box Review

Are you looking for a personalised gift?
Something for that special someone to treasure?

I love making memories but most of all I enjoy keeping memories. Since Maxwell was born I have kept a lot of his baby things which I can not bare to part with however they were sat in a draw as I had no where special to keep them. This all changed when Treat Republic recently sent us a lovely wooden keepsake box to keep all Maxwell's baby memory's in.

Treat Republic offer two different designs of wooden boxes, a giraffe design and a acon design. We choose the Acon design to review as I felt the design would grow with Maxwell and go well in his room. I was able to have the box personalised so it had Maxwell's full name on. Normally I have a little trouble having Maxwell's full name printed on things as it is very long however Treat Republic had no problem putting the name on the box for me.

When the box arrived I was extremely impressed by the quality. The box was well made and had a smooth finish. There were no rough edges, no sharp corners and the acon design looked beautiful. The box had a easy to use clip clasp opening which ensures all the items in the box are safely kept. The box is a good size and I found I was able to put a lot of items in it.

These boxes would make a lovely gift for young children and their parents. Looking back now I would have appreciated this gift when Maxwell was first born however I also believe they would be fantastic for christenings, birthdays and even Christmas.

Overall I am impressed with Treat Republic as a company. The box was sent out fast and I found the company to be really friendly.

Little Green Sheep's Mattress Protector Review

Did you know a baby spends on average 18 hours a day sleeping?
Are you looking for your baby to enjoy a comfy sleep?

Mummy Blog, Mummy To The Max, Parenting Blog,

We were recently sent a Little Green Sheep organic mattress protector for Maxwell to try. Not only do they protect your baby's mattress from any accidents but also provide a barrier against dust mites.

Maxwell was recently ill and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to start using the mattress protector in case Maxwell had any accidents in the night.
When fitting the sheet onto Maxwell's mattress I found that the protector fitted well. I was slightly worried that the protector didn't tuck under the mattress and it would move around if Maxwell wiggled but I was worrying over nothing as once the protector was on, it did not move.

Unfortunately Maxwell was sick during the night but luckily the protector proved that it could absorb well and saved Maxwell's mattress for any stains and wetness.
I took the protector straight off and began to clean the protector with a wet cloth and some fairy liquid. I found it was easy to clean and once having washed it in my washing machine I found that it had held its shape and had not bubbled.

Mummy Blog, Mummy To The Max, Parenting Blog,

My overall thought was that the protector was great. It was very soft for Maxwell to sleep on and was not the old plastic crinkly sheet you would normally find to protect a mattress. It washes well and would be a great addition to any babies bed.

The Little Green Sheep mattress protector is a thick, unbleached, organically grown cotton sheet which has thin polyurethane waterproof layer. It is available in a variety of sizes to fit. It will fit a Single bed (90x190cm), cot (60x120cm), cot bed (70x140cm), moses basket (35x65cm), carrycot or pram (30x70cm )and crib (40x80cm). Prices range from £9.99 and go up to the price of £39.99.

The Little Green Sheep company promises that all of their products are free from chemicals, have sustainability and are made with quality. The Little Green Sheep are so confident that there products work they offer a 30 day money back guarantee so you can be sure that what you buy is perfect for you and your baby.

Overall I would rate The Little Green Sheeps mattress protector 5/5.

Aldi Nappy and Wet Wipes Review

Are you looking for a great brand of nappies and baby wipes?
Great price and good quality?

Aldi Mamia Baby Nappies

Since Maxwell was tiny we have always used disposable nappies. I have always been wary of using supermarket brands as I normally like to use the more talked about big brands such as Huggies and Pampers.
When Aldi asked Me and Maxwell if we would like to try their range of Mamia Ultra-Dry disposable nappies I was excited to see what they were like.

When the nappies arrived my first thought was that they seemed quite thin and had a different texture that felt a bit silky on the outside of the nappy, apart from that they looked good. The nappies had a cute animal motif design on which I really liked.

Over a period of a few days Maxwell tried the nappies, not only in the day but also at night time and we found the nappies to be very good.
I found the Aldi nappies to be very absorbent and found they fitted well. They coped well with Maxwell running, walking, playing, everything a toddler likes to get up to in the day.

In the past Maxwell has had accidents in the night with other brands which have ended up making him disturbed at night and also giving him a rash, however these nappies left Maxwell dry and let him have a good nights sleep. I was pleased to see they did not irritate his skin or even leave him with marks.

The nappies are priced well and really are a bargain. We were sent a pack of 44 Mamia Ultra-Dry 4+  which are priced at just £4.49.

Aldi Mamia Baby Wipes

Maxwell is always getting messy. He is a typical toddler that loves to explore. From chocolate around his face to dirty hands after his dinner we are always on the hunt for some baby wipes.
Not only are wipes useful for messy hands they are great for bottoms.

We were sent some wipes to try from Aldi and were very impressed. They are a great quality and they had the right degree of wetness. They were thick and did the job they needed to do.
When changing Maxwell's nappy I normally struggle to get wipes out but these were easy to get out of there packet and came out one by one instead of clumps.

I thought I would try the wipes on me to get a parents view. I used them to clean the make up off my face and again I found they were fantastic. They felt soft on my skin and left my skin feeling clean. In my eyes they are just as good as the bigger brands and are fantastic value for money.

We were sent 2 packs of wipes. One pack being fragrance free and the other being fragranced. I found the frangranced ones smelt very nice. They did not have a strong smell.
Mamia baby wipes are designed for baby's sensitive skin. They retail at 79p which is very cheap for such a great quality of wipe.

I have no negatives to report back about these baby wipes. I found that they were great.

Overall I would rate the Aldis Mamia range of nappies and wipes 5/5. I am no longer a brand snob and have realised that supermarket brands are just a good.
