Pictures can speak a thousand words and while blogging is fun, sometimes it's nice to instantly share a favourite snap and that is where Instagram comes in. A place where it is so easy to share and view others pictures; be they gorgeous well thought out perfect pictures, or that silly moment in the home, each one tells a story and shares an unrepeatable moment of someone's life.

So that is what I love about Instagram it can give a completely candid moment of someone's life to you, there, instantly. This month we are asking you to come and join us on our Instagram journeys and to allow us to follow you on yours and for one lucky person who does - well we have £50 up for grabs, which will hopefully come in really useful in the lead up to the festive season. Discovery Instagram Competition

Discovery has launched a brand new Instagram page @discoveryfoods!

To celebrate the launch of the brand new Discovery Foods Instagram page that started at the beginning of July, Discovery foods are encouraging all foodie people to get creative in the kitchen. They are looking for the most creative uses of Mexican food with great images to share with all their fans.

Simply create a well  presented Mexican meal using Discovery Food products and share your photo via the Instagram page to be in with a chance of winning one of 10 exciting prizes to the value of £25 every week for 4 weeks!

When you upload your competition photo entry to Instagram, please include 'My #deliciousdiscovery entry for a chance to win £25 Amazon voucher with @Discoveryfoods

We were lucky to be sent a range of discovery products to enjoy. As it has been quite hot I wanted to make a meal with salad and wedges so I came to the conclusion to make Tacos.

Ingredients
Mummy Blog, Mummy To The Max, Parenting Blog1 tbsp oil
500g minced beef
1 sachet Discovery Taco Seasoning Mix
Discovery Tacos Shells
Discovery Fajita Season & Sauce
Grated Cheese
Sliced Lettuce
Salad
Wedges
  1. Heat oil and brown beef in a frying pan. 
  2. Add Taco Seasoning and Fajita Season & Sauce. Simmer for 10 mins.
  3. Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Remove Taco from packaging. Place on a baking tray and heat for 2-3 minutes. 
  4. Divide the filling between the Taco Trays. Add grated cheese, lettuce and any other things you may enjoy
  5. Remember to serve with salad and wedges.
