Mill Rythe Holiday Village - Away Resorts

I have made no secret that I completely adore holidaying in the UK. I have never flown on a plane and since having a little family of my own, I have opted to holiday in the UK. This year we are proud to have been selected as Away Resorts Great British Bloggers and we are very excited to be able to stay at Mill Rythe in Hayling Island in the next couple of weeks as a family of 3.

Mill Rythe is in a fantastic location on Hayling Island, surrounded by great beaches and the waters of the Solent, making a perfect holiday destination for all ages. For many years it has been a popular holiday destination. With plenty of places to explore – sailing, walking and water sports are all on the doorstep, and just a short distance from Portsmouth and Chichester, you are sure to be kept entertained.

5 things that we are looking forward to when we visit Mill Rythe:

Breakfast and dinner is included in the holiday price!

Did you know that if you stay at Mill Rythe, breakfast and dinner is included in the price of your stay? I have found that very little holiday companies offer half board in the UK and if they do, they want to charge you extortionate prices for the luxury.
Not only is this service great value for money as it is included in your holiday stay but it is also a treat as it means you do not have to create meals whilst you are away, you can simply sit back and relax. Mill Rythe promise to offer a range of varied meals. We are looking forward to sampling their menu which is also kid friendly.

There are activities to suit all ages!

Having visited different holiday parks in the UK, I have often been left feeling sad about the lack of activities there have been for Maxwell to enjoy. Mill Rythe offers a range of activites for younger children daily and they also promise that there are crafty activities on offer for your children to take part in. I know for one Maxwell is looking forward to playing in the soft play area at Mill Rythe and he is also looking forward to exploring Mill Rythe's two pools.

There are fantastic facilities which other UK holiday companies do not offer!

One of the things that wowed us when hearing about all the things Mill Rythe had to offer was the different types of facilities they had on offer. Mill Rythe has plenty of things to do for adults and children. Something different that Mill Rythe offer is a outdoor cinema screen which allows you to sit back, relax and watch great film all under the night's sky. Toasted marshmallows, hot chocolate and popcorn are also available to make your experience that little bit more memorable

You are able to take some "me" time!

Whilst on holiday I love being pampered, something that at home I have little time for due to busy work schedules and busy family life. I find that whilst many hotel breaks offer pamper time for us busy mums, barely any UK holiday companies do. On holiday, I am more than happy to send the boys off to explore whilst I sit back and relax. Mill Rythe offer beauty and hair treatments which are bought to you by Vogue. After browsing the list of treatments that there is on offer, I think that the prices are very reasonable and I will be looking at using Vogue's services whilst on holiday.

The Accommodation!

Accommodation at the village is in modern en-suite single, twin, double or large inter-connecting rooms with TV. There are several grades of accommodation available, from the value consious rooms, up to brand new suites. We are booked into a Ambassador Plus Room and we are very much looking forward to the little luxury's that the room has to offer.

3 places that we would love to visit whilst on holiday at Mill Rythe:

Paultons Park - Paultons family theme park offers a family day out with over 60 rides and attractions included in the price in Hampshire, The New Forest. There is plenty to see and do including Peppa Pig World and the Lost Kingdom.

Spinnaker Tower - The Emirates Spinnaker Tower is a 170-metre (560 ft) landmark observation tower in Portsmouth, England, UK. It overlooks historical Portsmouth harbour and the Solent.

Marwell Zoo - Marwell Zoo is a 140-acre zoo situated at Owslebury near Winchester.. It is owned and run by the registered charity Marwell Wildlife. The zoo is home to over 1,200 animals of 235 different species.
