Thornton Chocolate Gift Review

Gifts For The Chocoholic!

At Christmas I always think the perfect present for someone is something you know they will enjoy, and something which many people I know enjoy is chocolate. A few weeks ago we were sent some lovely Thornton's gifts to enjoy over the Christmas period and so far we have definitely enjoyed them. We were sent: A Christmas box jammed full of chocolates, a beautiful chocolate snowman for Maxwell and a favourites box for us all to tuck into and enjoy.

Snowman Chocolate Model
As a child I used to adore watching the Snowman film at Christmas. It got me in the festive feeling and I loved the music that used to go along with the film, it was a fantastic tradition at Christmas which was part of my childhood. This Christmas Maxwell was given a Snowman pop up book and loved it, so it was a lovely surprise to see that Thornton's had kindly sent over Maxwell a Snowman model with a plaque that read his name. The personalisation on this product made it that little bit special for Maxwell as he was able to see that it was his.
The model is available to buy for £6.99 which I believe is a great price. The model is not just great for children it is also great for adults this Christmas. It is a great size and would make the perfect stocking filler.

100 Chocolate Indulgences
This box is something which any family would be happy to receive this Christmas. Shocked was not the word as I pulled the box out of the parcel. It is the largest box of chocolates I have ever seen, with 100 chocolates, 20 different flavours and 5 trays filled with chocolate there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.
Many chocolates which are included in the box are "limited edition" and as a huge Thornton's fan I have never actually come across them so this was a added bonus. Limited edition chocolates included - Black Forest Gateau, Sherry Triffle, Almond Frost and Jolly Orange as well as a few others. I can honestly say the chocolates were delicious and I was extremely impressed!
The box is priced at £39.99 which is quite expensive for some on a tight budget however for a box of chocolates which has a weight of 1263g, I think this is a reasonable price.

Favourites Hamper
This hamper is the perfect gift for someone who loves lots of little treats and doesn't like to eat things in one go! The box is packed with a Classics Milk Caramel Bag, Assorted Toffee Bag, Vanilla Fudge Bag, Continental Milk, White & Dark Bag. The whole hamper caters for every one and would make a great stocking filler or a present for children, adults or even work colleagues. The box is priced at just £9.99 which I think is reasonable. It is presented well and the contents of the hamper taste divine.

I did not receive any financial reward for writing this review.
However we did receive the product for review purposes. Everything written in this post is my own, honest opinion.

  1. I've seen this too late to sneak it into the Christmas stockings, but my boys love the Snowman and Snowdog so that would have been perfect for them! I love a bit of Thorntons. x
