Logo Board Game Review

Gifts For The Games Lover

Family time recently has been neglected due to our family's busy lifestyles, however last week we managed to have a small get together and we had a fun night in thanks to the brilliant board game Logo. I was extremely excited to review this game as it was something I had wanted to play since the game had first come out.

Logo is a game for 2-6 players or 2 teams and is suitable for the ages 12 - adult. Our family opted to play in 2 teams as we found this would be a easier way of playing. We split the teams into girls and boys and found we had a fun but competitive game.

The game was easy to play. Each team took it in turns to travel round the board of purple, yellow, green, and red spaces. What colour space you move to is based on correctly answered questions. We moved squares and answered questions until we reached the winning zone in the centre.

The questions are based on logos, products and packaging of well-known brands. There are three types of question card: Picture cards, Pot luck cards and Common theme cards. We found we knew most of the logos on the picture cards however at times both teams managed to get stuck on some of the answers on the Pot luck cards.

This Christmas we have agreed to sit down and play the game again. As a parent who does most of the shopping in my household I think I had a small advantage to someone like Ben who hates shopping and enjoys sitting down and switching off into his music in his spare time. Seeing as the boys took a beating from the girls, they are brushing up on there logo skills and are looking to beat us girls this Christmas.

We found this game was suitable for all ages of adults, especially as some of the logos were brands which had disappeared a while ago, much to my parents liking.  Although this game is not suitable for younger children, I think this game will make the perfect stocking filler for adults/teenagers this Christmas or will make your Christmas Eve/Day fun.

I did not receive any financial reward for writing this review.
However we did receive the product for review purposes. Everything written in this post is my own, honest opinion.
