Last week was half term which meant we got to spend some time with A. Rachel. A. Rachel is a busy teacher so we don't often get to spend a lot of time with her however last week she took us to Paultons Park. We had a fantastic day out. Maxwell was unsure of the rides at first but soon got into the swing of things. He enjoyed playing in the soft play and he loved his lunch which he had as a special treat. The only small negative about our trip was that the lines were quite long however overall it is a fantastic day out for all the family.

This week saw us take Maxwell to a firework display! I was quite nervous that he would be scared and we would have to go home due to the loud noises and him sitting in the dark however he seemed to really enjoy the fireworks and didn't even mind the noise. Unfortunately the rain fell and we got soaked however it was a brilliant experience and something which I will enjoy doing with Maxwell every year.

A few weeks ago, I struggled to get Maxwell to eat many meals however over the last few weeks Maxwell has been enjoying many new foods. He now loves casserole, roast dinners, noodles and he has even tried fisherman's pie. I am thrilled to see him eating new foods and enjoying them.

We have been in our new home for 3 weeks and Maxwell has settled in well. I was originally scared he would not settle in as it was new surroundings however he seems to like our new house.  In the summer I am sure he is looking forward to enjoying our garden.

Last week Maxwell found Daddy's hair gel and decided it was a good idea to gel his hair just like he had seen his Daddy do, he caused quite a mess however he did look sweet. I think we will be allowing him to do his hair in a few years time, not just yet as he is a bit to little.
