Fuzzikins Craft Dozy Dogs - Review

Over the past week we have been enjoying our Easter Holidays. Recently Maxwell was thrilled when he was sent Fuzzikins Craft Dozy Dogs to review. Maxwell is the type of child who loves anything fuzzy and furry, he also loves dogs so this was the perfect set for him to try.

The Fuzzikins Craft Dozy Dogs kit includes 3 fuzzy dogs in different sizes, 3 felt tips to decorate the dogs as well as felt and stickers to make and decorate the dozy dogs beds which you need to make with the set. There is also a clear instruction booklet for you to follow. There are also paper practice dogs to cut out and colour in which I thought was a fantastic idea. Everything is included in the box which we found was fantastic. It was brilliant to be able to open a craft toy and find that everything was ready to use straight away and I did not have to go off and find additional craft bits to complete our crafting session.

Creating the Fuzzikins Craft Dozy Dogs was fun. Maxwell got straight to work using the felt tips on the dogs and loved decorating them. He used his imagination well with the set and in the end we came away with the baby pup of our set looking like Patch the dog. Maxwell was very taken with "Patch" and kept explaining that "Patch" was his new favourite friend and kept saying how cute he was.

Once we had decorated the fuzzy dogs, it was time to make the dog beds. The dog beds are aimed at children 5+ to create however Maxwell did have a little trouble making the dog beds up. With a little guidance and help from me, Maxwell was in the end able to complete the dog beds which was fantastic as he felt accomplished. Using a lollipop stick (provided) you push the felt tabs from the felt shaped bed into a slot to secure it together.

Maxwell loved putting his Dozy Dog together and he commented on how much his friends may enjoy the Fuzzikins sets for their Birthday and Christmas presents. Maxwell has added the cat version of Dozy Dogs to his Amazon wishlist this year. Fuzzikins Craft Dozy Dogs is available from Amazon, Interplay and Toys R Us for £9.99.

*We received the craft set for the purpose of this post.  All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
