We’re Going On A Bear Hunt 4-in-1 Games Cube Review

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt 4-in-1 Games Cube Review

Over the last few weeks, Maxwell has been looking at We’re Going On A Bear Hunt at school. Maxwell has really enjoyed looking at the story and over the past few weeks he has come home telling us about the special activities he has been doing at school which feature We’re Going On A Bear Hunt. A few weeks ago Maxwell got sent a very special delivery, Maxwell was sent We’re Going On A Bear Hunt 4-in-1 Game Cube from Paul Lamond to review.

When the games cube arrived, I was surprised at how compact it was. Measuring at just 135mm cubed I was surprised to see so much fun packed into one box. The contents of the cube included 1 x pack of 42 standard size playing cards in a box, 1 spinner, 4 x bingo boards which piece together to also make up the 4 shapes in a row board, 30 bingo cards 60 small circles tokens.

Maxwell was very eager to open the games cube. Maxwell and I set the separate games out, read the instructions for the games and slowly we played each game together. Maxwell and I were treated to Bingo, Snap, Twisted Pairs and Four Shapes in a Row. Maxwell and I both got stuck into playing the games and together, we were very impressed with the quality of the games and the fun factor of them.

Maxwell adored playing Snap. It was lovely to see the detail of the picture cards. The pictures all related to the We’re Going On A Bear Hunt story and as a parent I loved the fact that the picture cards included some wording from the story also. Another favourite which Maxwell loved was Bingo. The game was easy to follow and unlike most games we play, the play time was quite short which was fantastic as it meant we could jump from game to game and Maxwell did not get bored with playing.

The We’re Going On A Bear Hunt 4-in-1 Game Cube is aimed at children aged 3 and above. I feel that at the age of 5, We’re Going On A Bear Hunt 4-in-1 Game Cube was suitable for Maxwell to play. The games were easy to setup, easy to understand and kept Maxwell engaged. I feel that the We’re Going On A Bear Hunt 4-in-1 Games Cube is the perfect treat for late preschool aged children as well as early year children at school to play with.

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt 4-in-1 Games Cube is available to buy from Amazon, it has an RRP of £8.95.

*We received the games cube for the purpose of this post.  All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
