MandM Direct Clothing Review

Recently we were contacted by MandM Direct and asked if we would like to review some of their clothing. Maxwell is going to school soon, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get some bits for Maxwell to go to school with.

The first item that I picked was a Converse Boys Gym Sack. Priced at just £5.99 I thought this would be the perfect item to keep Maxwell's sports kit in at school. The item is of great quality and I was actually surprised at how strong the bag was. It is large enough to keep Maxwell's full kit in as well as a pair of shoes. The bag is a great colour as it does not show up dirt and can easily be labelled to help identify that it holds Maxwell's belongings. Something which I liked about this bag is that the straps are adjustable meaning it will grow with Maxwell as he grows.

The second item that I picked was a Trespass Junior Wylie Hooded Waterproof Shell Jacket in Black. For a long period of time I have been looking for a jacket which would be suitable for Maxwell to take to school in September. I was looking for something which was lightweight but waterproof. This jacket has met my requirements. Not only is this jacket waterproof but it is also windproof. The jacket includes a lined hood, adjustable cuffs, pockets and a zip fastening. This is a jacket which Maxwell will be able to do up himself, protect him against the rain and keep him warm and dry on our walk to school. Priced at just £12.99 I think this jacket is a bargain. I will continue to buy this branded jacket for Maxwell as he continues to grow.

The third item which I picked were these Adidas Boys Neoride III Football Boots. Maxwell is a great lover of going outside and enjoying the fresh air. He loves to play sports and run around and have fun. We learnt that his new school have football after school once a week, I knew that some football boots were a must have. I chose these boots for Maxwell as I loved the colour of them but I also knew the brand. Adidas has been a brand which we have worn often over the past 15 years and is a brand which we trust. My knowledge of Adidas is that it is a good quality sports brand. These boots are just perfect for Maxwell. They are bright and fun for a boy of his age but also are a great quality shoe which are the perfect fit for his feet. Priced at just £13.99 I feel you can't go wrong with these shoes.

The fourth item which I picked for Maxwell was a Fluid Junior T-Shirt in Grey. This T-Shirt was priced at just £2.99 and I was keen to see what the quality and fit were like. When the T-Shirt arrived, I was able to see that the T-shirt was of good quality. The T-Shirt was made from a good quality material and after allowing Maxwell to wear it, I was able to see that the T-Shirt was a good fit. The T-shirt has washed up well. I feel that this was a great buy due to the T-Shirt being cheaply priced - on par with cheap clothes outlets however it was made from much better material and had a brand name attached to it.

The fifth item that I chose was the Trespass Junior Masonville 1/2 Zip Micro Fleece in Black. I thought this would be the perfect item for Maxwell to wear in Autumn/Winter under his Trespass jacket. Having previously owned Trespass Fleeces I knew that they were a good, quality item of clothing and something which would last Maxwell over the period of the year. The features which are great about this item of clothing is that it is lightweight, easy for Maxwell to get on and remove and the fact that it manages to capture body heat. I love the colour of this fleece, I think it will look very smart with Maxwell's uniform and his new Trespass jacket.
