Kiddicare Opens New Southampton Store!

Last week Maxwell and I were lucky enough to visit the new Kiddicare Store at Hedge End in Southampton. We attended a blogging event to celebrate the opening of the new store.  I have always been a big fan of Kiddicare and have always had good experiences shopping with them online so I was eager to find out what they had to offer in store.

Kiddicare Hedge End is the sixth Kiddicare store to open in the UK in their nationwide expansion plan. The store has created over 79 jobs for the local community and all of the employees live in a 5 mile radius. The store has over 3,600 products which include car seats, pushchairs, toys, highchairs and anything else a parent could possibly need.

When we first arrived we were greeted by lots of friendly smiles and faces. There were lots of staff to direct me to where I needed to go. First stop was the Cafe.
The Cafe was a great. It had plenty of seating and it was bright and colourful. There was a huge range of food and drinks which were on offer for all the family to enjoy. There were a lot of healthy options and everything was reasonably priced. There were plenty of spoons, spare bowls and even equipment for you to heat younger children's food up.
The Cafe has lots of brilliant qualities including a nest where you are able to go and get a little privacy to breastfeed, a large table where parents are able to meet and have a catch up over a coffee and a small fun play area where children are able to go and have lots of fun.

Whilst we were at the event we were treated to a special music class in Kiddicare's community room. The community room is where local classes meet together and create lots of fun for the children. We were treated to a music class with Maraca Jacks. Maxwell enjoyed himself and I can recommend the class to other parents.
Kiddicare use the community room to give parents financial advice when purchasing items for their child. It is a quiet room where you are able to discuss how you will make payments to pay off the essentials you need when having a child. Kiddicare have set a system up where you are able to pay in instalments.

The whole store has been thought out carefully. It is very family friendly and it is easy to find what you are looking for. Everything is put into sections and is presented clearly.
The aisles are wide and pushchair friendly. Everything is neatly placed on the shelves so you do not have the fear of knocking something off as you push your buggy around or when children are running around.
The price tags are digital so the prices are always up to date and all products are competitively priced. I liked the fact that if a product was on offer it would have a sign saying "Amazing Deals" round its digital tag.

The new store features many family friendly things that make your shopping experience special. I was pleased to see that their was free Wifi, free parking and a free gift wrapping service. I also thought the free services Kiddicare had to offer were great. Kiddicare offer free car fitting and safety checks for all car seats, free winter buggy MOT'S and free personal shopping experiences.

We really enjoyed our day out at Kiddicare and I can see us returning soon.
